A seven run first inning powers Florida State to a 10-5 win over Florida in the Florida Four Baseball Tournament played Tuesday night in Tampa.
Gator starter Anthony DeSclafani (0-1) didn't make it out of the first inning as the undefeated and second ranked Seminoles put the game out of reach for Florida early. In fact, the margin of victory could have been greater except for a four run ninth inning rally by the Gators.
Florida is now 5-1 on the year and it will travel to face Miami in a three game series starting on Friday.
