More teams have punched their tickets into the NCAA men's basketball tournament with wins in conference tournament finals last night.
Siena is in after beating Fairfield 72-65 in overtime to win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament. Edwin Ubiles scores 27 points, including two on a 360 dunk, to help Siena to the win.
Old Dominion is in as Colonial Athletic Association Tournament champs after beating William & Mary 60-53. And St.Mary's is in after ripping Gonzaga 81-62 to win the West Coast Conference Tournament and the automatic NCAA bid.
And Wofford makes its first ever NCAA Tournament appearance after beating Appalachian State 56-51 to win the Southern Conference Tournament.
And in women's college basketball, the University of Connecticut broke its own record for most consecutive wins by a women's team when it beat Notre Dame last night 59-44 in the Big East Tournament. U Conn has now won 71 straight games and it is taking aim at the all time record of 88 straight wins set by UCLA's men's team.
