The Florida women's basketball team opens play in the SEC Tournament today when it takes on Auburn at 2:30 in Duluth, Georgia.
Florida is the seventh seed in the tournament, ending with a 7-9 regular season SEC record. Auburn is the 10th seed after finishing 5-11 in league play.
Earlier this season in Gainesville, Florida won a double overtime thriller 71-68 to beat the Tigers. Sophomore center Azania Stewart had 21 points in that game for Florida but she has missed the last few games with a stress fracture in her foot; however, she is expected to try and play today against Auburn.
The Tigers have height inside with 6'6" senior Keke Carrier and a sharpshooting guard in veteran Alli Smalley.
The winner of this game will take on Kentucky tomorrow at 2:30pm.
