FSU Officially Vacates Wins, Titles Too

Florida State University has officially announced it will forfeit 12 football victories and some wins in men's basketball as well as a result of its part in an acacemic cheating scandal.

The NCAA had announced the penalties against the school months ago but FSU appealed. However, all the appeals to the NCAA were exhausted and the school finally announced the sanctions on Sunday.

The school will have to forfeit an NCAA track championship won in 2007 and other victories in sports like women's basketball and even baseball as well. The vacating of wins in fact sweeps across 10 men's and women's sports at the school.

In short, the NCAA took away the wins in which athletes implicated in the cheating scandal participated in their respective sports.
