The New Orleans Saints remain unbeaten in the NFL season after beating the Atlanta Falcons 35-27 on Monday Night Football.
Quarterback Drew Brees threw for over 300 yards and two touchdown passes and the Saints also scored two touchdowns on runs by Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas.
The Falcons rallied and made a game of it late but Matt Ryan's desperation heave near the end zone was intercepted and the Saints improve to 7-0 on the year while the Falcons drop to 4-3.
Indianapolis and New Orleans are now the only two undefeated teams left in the NFL. The winning percentage of the teams the Saints must still face now stands only at .359. The Colts next week face Houston at home while the Saints host Carolina in a division game.
