Johnson's Lead Cut As He Crashes In Texas

Kurt Busch takes the checkered flag at the NASCAR race held this weekend in Texas but the story was the early crash of season championship points leader Jimmie Johnson that helped finish a distant 38th in the race.

The poor performance by Johnson cuts his lead in the NASCAR points standings to 73 over teammate Mark Martin, who finished fourth. Two races are left to determine the points champion and Johnson is trying to win that title for the fourth year in a row.

Kyle Busch looked like he had the race won but his car suddenly stopped just a couple of laps before the end and that allowed brother Kurt to get the win.
