The University of Florida football team will host what should be its final list of players for the 2009 class this weekend on campus.
Scheduled to visit are Gator verbal commitments quarterback Jordan Reed from New London, Connecticut, wide receiver Nu'Keese Richardson from Pahokee and defensive tackle Gary Brown from Quincy.
Also scheduled to visit is 6'2" 185 pound athlete Josh Evans from Irvington, New Jersey who is also considering schools like Pittsburgh, Purdue, and Oklahoma.
Wide receiver Marlon Brown of Memphis is also scheduled to visit; he is also considering Ole Miss, Georgia and others. He's a 6'5" 205 pounder.
Much heralded wide receiver/athlete Andre Debose is also scheduled to make his official visit this weekend. He is a Gator verbal commitment as well from Sanford Seminole High School.
Florida is scheduled to have its Junior Day activities next weekend.
The Gators could possibly sign 22 or 23 players when Signing Day arrives on February 4. Florida has lost a couple of verbal commitments in the last few days including Greg Reid, but the Gators can finish strong by reeling in such prospects as running back Trent Richardson, linebackers Jelani Jenkins and Frankie Telfort, defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick, defensive end Jarvis Jones and safety Jawanza Starling.
