The University of Florida soccer and volleyball teams have one more SEC win to celebrate today after action on Sunday.
The Gator soccer team won two road overtime matches this weekend, beating Vanderbilt 4-3 on Friday and Kentucky 3-2 on Sunday. Florida is now 9-2-1 and 4-0 in SEC play. Freshman Lindsay Thompson scored the game winner in the 103rd minute as the Gators battled back from a two goal first half deficit to win.
The Florida volleyball team is also undefeated in SEC play after knocking off two opponents on the road this weekend. The Gators won at Mississippi State Sunday 3-0 to move their record to 12-1 overall and to 6-0 in SEC play. Freshman Kelly Murphy continued her fine play with 15 kills in the match and got her eighth double-double of the year as well.
