The first major cut down day has come and gone in the NFL for the 2008 season and unfortunately a number of former University of Florida players are among them.
Tight end Aaron Walker was released by Baltimore; Green Bay released running back DeShawn Wynn and Arizona cut wide receiver Jemalle Cornelius. Denver released wide receiver Taylor Jacobs.
Jacksonville signed former Gator running back Ciatrick Fason.
Rosters must be cut down to the NFL limit of 53 by Saturday.
