The Utah Jazz and point guard Deron Williams agree to a four year contract extension worth up to $70 million. The star point guard agreed to a three year extension with a player option for the fourth year. The deal will only allow Williams to become a free agent as early as the summer of 2012.
The Hornet's point guard Chris Paul signed a similar deal just ten days ago. The total worth of Paul's deal is $68 million. Other players that have signed similar deals in the recent past include draft mates Lebron James and Dwayne Wade.
