The Mets Continue Their Win Streak

The Mets battle back in the ninth to beat the Reds 10-8. Playing on the one-month anniversary of manager Willie Randolph's firing, the Mets blew three leads before striking a four run comeback in the ninth. The Mets get their 10th straight win and they are now tied with Phillies for first place in the NL East. The 10-game win streak is the club's longest since New York won 10 straight in the month of July, 1991. It also ties the longest winning streak in the majors this season.

Other scores in the majors include Detroit beating Baltimore 6-5, St.Louis wins a close one over the Padres 4-3, and Colorado gets a solid win over Pittsburgh 5-3
