It is SEC media days in Hoover, Alabama and that meant that Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow would be on the move. The Gator head coach and his Heisman winning quarterback were joined by Gator offensive lineman Phil Trautwein when they travelled to Alabama yesterday for the annual media frenzy. SEC media days is an event held five weeks before the opening of the college football season and is an opportunity for the media to corral all twelve schools of the conference in one place. Tebow was asked about everything from the new speedsters on the offense to his mission work in three foreign countries in his spare time. Tebow also talked about his recent encounter with "retired" Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre at the ESPY's and his surprise guest performance at Kenny Chesney country music concert.
On the flip side of the coin Meyer was more concerned with talking about on the field issues such as defensive back Dorian Monroe’s injury and the game clock rule changes.
On Wednesday, it was Florida, Mississippi State, LSU, and Vanderbilt, with Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee showing up on Thursday. Auburn, Kentucky, Arkansas, and South Carolina will wrap up the action on Friday.
