The University of Florida baseball team plays its only midweek game tonight when it takes on Bethune Cookman at McKethan Stadium.
AM 850 will have live coverage starting at 6:30pm.
Florida (28-18) will send struggling righthander Kyle Mullaney to the mound to start the game tonight. Mullaney (0-4, 6.75 earned run average) was the losing pitcher in relief Sunday when South Carolina beat the Gators 9-6.
Bethune Cookman (33-19) played last Tuesday and split a doubleheader against Florida Atlantic. In conference play, the Wildcats are 17-1 in the Mid Eastern Athletic Conference.
Shortstop Jose Lazada leads the Wildcats in hitting at .413 and he has also driven in 52 runs. First baseman/outfielder Osvaldo Torres hits .331 and has a team leading 10 homers and 61 r-b-i.
Chris Chapman (2-2, 4.85) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Wildcats tonight.
