The University of Florida baseball team plays its final midweek game of the season tonight when it hosts South Florida; AM 850 will have all the live action starting at 6:30pm.
Florida (30-20) will start freshman righthander Tommy Toledo (4-4, 3.88) on the mound tonight. Toledo comes off a rough relief outing last Sunday in Alabama where he gave up three runs on four hits while not retiring a batter.
South Florida (26-24, 11-13 Big East) will start lefthander Teddy Kauf,an (3-2, 5.12) on the mound. The Bulls hit .299 as a team but don't have a lot of power as the top home run hitter has just six on the year. Ryan Lockwood leads the Bulls with a .415 average and junior shortstop Addison Maruszak hits .357.
