The Boston Celtics finally swatted away a pesky Atlanta Hawks team by blowing them out 99-65 in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference series on Sunday. Boston wins the series 4-3 and will now move on to play Cleveland on Tuesday night.
Paul Pierce led a balance Celtic attack with 22 points and Boston went off early and left no doubt who would win this game. Former Gator Al Horford scored eight points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
In the Western Conference, Los Angeles takes game one of its series with Utah with a 109-98 win over Utah. Probably league MVP Kobe Bryant scores 38 points to lead the Lakers to the win.
Tonight, Orlando starts its Eastern Conference series at Detroit and San Antonio travels to New Orleans with the Hornets leading that series 1-0.
