All the top seeds cruised to victories in their opening round games of the NCAA Women's Basketbball Tournament.
North Carolina beat Bucknell 85-50; Connecticut pounded Cornell 89-47; Tennessee downed Oral Roberts 94-55; and Maryland downed Coppin State 80-66.
The biggest upset of the tournament so far was Florida State's win over Ohio State; many believed the Lady Seminoles should not have been in the tournament but they did their job and beat the sixth seeded Buckeyes 60-49.
One SEC team is out after Auburn lost in the first round to George Washington; Georgia, Vanderbilt, LSU and Tennessee all advanced to the second round.
