The Florida women's basketball team tries to advance in the WNIT tonight when it plays at North Carolina State; AM 850 will have live coverage starting at 6:45pm.

Florida won its first game by beating Florida Gulf Coast 60-55 while the Wolfpack beat South Carolina at home, coming back from a double digit deficit to do so.

Florida and North Carolina State have similar records and do have some similarities in other areas as well. The Gators have an undersized post player in Marshae Dotson and the Wolfpack has the same in 6'1" senior Khadijah Whittington who averages 17 points and 11.5 rebounds a game.

Junior guard Shayla Fields is the only other Wolfpack player averaging in double digits, as she scores 13.3 points a game.

If Florida wins, the Gators would probably play the winner of the Boston College-St.John's game either on Sunday or Monday.
