The newly formed Florida team in the All American Football League will have an open tryout this Saturday at Citizens Field in Gainesville.

According to head coach Shane Matthews, the tryout is by invitation only and will be held from 8am until approximately 5pm. Approximately 140 players are expected to be on hand for the tryout.and it will be open to the public.

Former Gator players like quarterback Chris Leak, wide receivers Chris Doering and Travis McGriff, and offensive lineman Steve Rissler are expected to be on hand for the tryout.

The All American Football League and Team Florida are expected to open the inaugural season of the league next spring.
