Two sources have told AM 850 sports this morning that senior Florida defensive tackle Marcus Thomas will be suspended for five games.

Although no official announcement has been made, Florida head coach Urban Meyer was asked about the situation on today's SEC Teleconference and he said he would comment "at an appropriate time." A comment could come as soon as today's Gator football practice.

Thomas was suspended for the first game of the season for what were then undisclosed reasons but came back and played in Florida's next two games, recording three sacks in those two games.
