The University of Florida football tem picked up verbal commitment number 23 in the 2006 class when defensive end Jermaine Cunningham said yes to the Gators.

Cunningham chose the Gators over Tennessee and Auburn.

The 6'4" Cunningham had 25 sacks during his senior year at Stephenson High School in Georgia.
