Freshman Stephen Locke pitched six strong innings and Justin Tordi and Brian Jeroloman had three hits to lead the sixth ranked Florida baseball team to an 8-1 win over UNC Asheville on Tuesday.

Florida improves to 12-3 while the Bulldogs fall to 3-6.

Locke picked up his second win of the year, going six innings and giving up just one run on three hits. Connor Falkenbach finished up with three scoreless innings of relief, despite being sick for most of the day on Tuesday.

Jeroloman also had three r-b-i and hit his second homer of the year while Tordi also drove in two runs. Florida managed just nine hits on the night.
