The current economic downturn isn't only worrying adults... but even teens are now feeling the pressure of the economic slow-down. A new poll released by Peter D. Hart Research Associates says, high schoolers are concern about the future of the economy and how it can impact the nation. Peter D. Hart Research Partner, Allan Rivlin says they have done this poll for a decade, but this is the first time high schoolers show a great concern for the economic future of the nation. Even though teens are still worried about things like "fiting in", having a certain apperance and getting good grades; Rivlin says teens are now more aware of the world and its problems. But perhaps this economical slow-down may leave a positive legacy for the future. Rivlin says teenagers have gone from feeling cynical about the problems of the nation to have the urge to do something about it and fix it. One-thousand teens between the ages of 13 and 19 were interviewed via telephone. According to Rivlin the poll reflects the demographics of the nation based on the latets Census Bureau information.
