Prices keep getting higher and higher and some are wondering how this will affect celebrations. With Fourth of July coming up, some people may choose to skip the usual cookouts and fireworks. For those who go on with the celebration, they should expect everything from ketchup to hot dog buns to cost more. Earlier today I spoke with C-B-S correspondent Barry Bagnato about a study that found the cost of Fourth of July celebrations higher than previous years. Americans will pay up to 10% more this year for food during Fourth of July weekend. Survey done over last 8 years to show Americans how much Fourth of July Food has increased. Everyone pays attention to these surveys because of high price of gas and food. Very little has and can be done to help alleviate high prices on every day people.
