The Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Gainesville Association of Realtors, and the Builders Foundation of North Central Florida held a Pancakes and Public Policy meeting this morning at Gators Dockside. Representative Corrine Brown spoke at the meeting. Brown feels that it is extremely important for the state of Florida to implement a railroad system. Brown says Florida has received eight billion dollars in stimulus for a rail system. She says a railroad system in Florida is capable of changing the face of America. Brown says have a positive impact on Floridians. Brown says communications between districts is crucial and will play an important role in the success of the railroad. Brown also addressed her opinions on health care. She says she supports the bill and will be voting in favor of it.
