With the Census around the corner, counties around the nation are having trouble generating enough staff to handle this undertaking, but Alachua County has proved to be an exception. Gainesville Census Office Manager Norman Sassner says being a census worker offers many benefits you can't get with other jobs. He says it's very important to the local community to have people fill out this survey. He says they are still looking to fill about 350 positions and will be accepting applications through the summer.
