Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Henry Cabbage says that Florida's regualtions are actually very strict, however it's up to the pet owner to be responsible and follow these laws in that are place to aviod such tragedies.The owner of the python who killed the 2-year-old girl did not have the legal permit to own such a pet.
