The fine for not wearing seatbelts in Alachua County has not changed, but the ability for an officer to pull you over certainly has. Gainesville Police Sergeant Joe Raulerson says the ticket will still be written out for one-hundred and four dollars, but starting tomorrow police can stop you for simply not wearing a seat belt.Sergeant Raulerson says the seatbelt ad-campaigns on t.v. have given the public enough of a heads-up so he doesn't expect to pull over too many people who havn't heard "Click-it Or Tick-et."
