The Florida Department of Transportation is trying to make getting to Miami easy for Gators. Spokesperson for the Florida department of transportation Vicky Mixson, says that there are going to be more than just gators on the road on Thursday. Mixson says there is a way for Gators to know what is happening on the roadways before they star their journey. Once inside state boundaries the 5-1-1 system can be reached from any cell phone or landline. Also, once fans reach Miami you can get regional traffic updates. Mixson says that traffic should be okay as long as people plan ahead and allot additional time for any traffic tie-ups.
