Students, Faculty and Staff from the University of Florida are anticipating the Football National Championship game featuring the Florida Gators on Thursday. Some are preparing to make the drive down to Miami while others will be staying in town. The University of Florida is making accomodations so those who do stay can also have a memorable experience. Like with previous championship games, the game will be shown at the O'Connell Center and UF Spokesperson, Steve Orlando, says there is a lot to look forward to. Before the football game, there will be a women's basketball game. Orlando says this should not interfere with the celebration. Although this event requires you to show your Gator One to get in, Orlando says there could be exceptions. During the day on Thursday parking restrictions will be the same and wil lbe lifted at the same time they are lifted every day. The university is also working with the Gainesville Police Department to keep fans safe during and after the game.
