The State Attorney's Office is charging suspect, Terrill Garder, with homicide for the stabbing of victim, Michael Jones, last week. Jones was taken off life support this weekend and passed away on Sunday in Gainesville. State Attorney's Office Chief Investigator, Spencer Mann, says they are still in the early stages of the case. Gainesville Police Department spokeswoman, Summer Hallett, says since the victim has died the charges on the suspect will be upgraded.Garder is still being held in custody.
