A Gainesville high school teacher and soccer coach has been arrested on charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. Court documents say the victim, a 17-year old student, said she was involved in a sexual relationshiop with the 25 year old man since April of this year. Gainesville Police Department public information officer, Summer Hallett, says Kenneth Alaimo was arrested today and will stay in custody at least until tomorrow. Spokeswoman for Alachua County Public Schools says the suspect is not employed right now. The documents say the victim kept a journal, and that the man had sexual intercourse with her, as well as other sex acts. Police said all the alleged sexual activity occured at his apartment.
