Florida residents can expect to pay less at the pump as the supply of gas gradually increases. AAA Auto Club South spokesman, Greg Lasoski says the fuel supply coming out of the Houston area is almost back to normal causing gas prices to fall. Another reason, he says involves the strength of the dollar.
Lasoski says the average cost of gas in Florida is $3.56 for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline. He expects the price to fall as low as $3.00 a gallon as long as no other outside factors, such as hurricanes, influence the current supply and demand.
