Alachua county schools are suffering along with the entire state in order to meet their budget cuts. Mark McGriff, chariman of Citizens for Strong Schools says schools are cutting programs across the board. McGriff says there is a way to make up for some of this deficit. McGriff and parents in Alachua county are concerned for their children's education. The proposed tax would last for four years starting in July of 2009 and ending in 2013.
