As the water stops coming in, it starts to flow out... which could cause some problems for local waterways. Spokesperson for St. John River Water Management District, Hank Largin says excess rainwater from Faye may continue to flow into waterways until later this week. The water may flood areas along the St. Johns River, but it's the upper Suwannee River region that's predicted to go above flood stages Thursday or Friday. Water Resources Engineer for the Suwannee River Water Management District, Megan Weatherington, believes there will be minor flood levels, but if severe weather strikes again... it could be a serious problem.
