A ray of hope in Florida's economy-- the state's consumer confidence level has risen as residents adjust to the bad economic times. Consumer Confidence has increased buy 6 points since July. Director of UF's Survey Research Center Chris McCarty says residents have absorbed and accepted the situation. As a result, there has been a gradual stabilization of the economy, including the state's housing market. McCarty says, aside from condos, the median price of homes in Florida is beginning to even out as well.
