We haven't seen the end of Tropical Storm Fay just yet ... The Santa Fe River may begin to flood areas north and west of Alachua due to the storm. The Swanee River in north Florida saw so much rain that its now overflowing the Sante Fe river. Emergency Management Chief for Alachua County David Donelly says if we don't get any more rain, we might be in the clear.

Donelly says its important to check to see if you are infact in a flood zone and from there, decide if you wish you purchase flood insurance.
