The head of a prominent cancer research institute issued an unprecedented warning to his family and staff on Wednesday, that is causing quite a stir among other cancer researchers and doctors. The warning comes from the director of the University of Pittsburgh's Cancer Institute, Dr. Ronald Herberman who warned his faculty and staff to limit cell phone use because of the possible risk of brain cancer. But Medical Neuro Oncologist at the University of Florida Erin Dunbar says there is not enough evidence linking to cell phones and the cause of brain cancer. Dunbar says if there was ever a link between electromagnetic radiation and cancer, cell phones would not be the only danger, but technology as a whole would see a large change. Dunbar says this is a good example of why it is important for everyone to take responsibility for being knowledgeable about their own health care .
