A boy hit by an R-T-S bus received life threatening injuries yesterday. Police Spokeswoman Summer Hallet identified the boy as a 15-year old Gainesville resident. The boy, on his bicycle, crossed into the path of the oncoming city bus full of passengers. Witnesses say the driver swerved to avoid a collision. The accident took place after 5 PM at the intersection of Southwest 23rd Terrace and Southwest 35th Place.
