Workers Unearth Stone-aged Artifact

Workers in Safety Harbor, Florida installing a new shelter at a park discovered an Indian knife blade estimated to be from the stone age. Director of Exhibits at Safety Harbor Museum Ron Fekete says it dates back to the Tocobaga Indians days. Fekete says the 4-inch knife was likely used by the Tocobaga Indians. The knife found Monday is not the oldest local artifact to be unearthed. Fekete says there have been many other findings made. Fakete says if you scratch the dirt in Florida whenever there is going to be a development and anybody scratches the surface, you are going to come up with something.
