Police have identified a cause of the disturbance at a Gainesville apartment complex, but are still unsure of the shooter. Wednesday's shooting at Pine Ridge apartments, leaving one man injured, has been confirmed as a result of a previous incident at a party in LaCrosse. Gainesville Police Department Captain, Ed Book, says there are still many unanswered questions as to who was behind the shooting. Book says they've received many conflicting stories, but the incident involves many people from two apartments who aren't necessarily residents of the complexes. He says Pine Ridge resident, Willie Roberts, who was arrested on unrelated drug charges, is a possible suspect, but it can not yet be confirmed. Book says though they aren't as far as they thought they'd be, police are vigorously working on cracking the case.
