Students aren't the only ones facing drastic changes due to cuts. Florida seniors, too, are seeing the effects of the shrinking state budget. A.A.R.P. spokesperson for Florida, Dave Bruns explains the situation.
Bruns says Despite the budget cuts, A.A.R.P. is thankful to the legislature for preventing the situation from being disastrous. He believes there really are no winners in this situation. The worst part.Bruns believes there's nothing anyone, short of the governor, can do at this point. he said this could be the worst state budget crisis in over 40 years. This may even be the worst since the Great Depression.
