Residents of the Archer area should be on the look out for a man trying to scam for money. The Alachua County Sheriff's office has received numerous reports of a man that has been going door-to-door asking for money.

The man is described as a white male and believed to be in his thirties. He is about 5' 08'', medium build, and clean shaven.

Alachua County Sheriff Detective Patrick Tombler is asking that anyon who has had contact with the man to call 352-367-4181. The Sheriff's Office also asks if anyone should experience this activity to please be aware it may possibly be a scam and call 352-955-1818 immediately to report it.
