Lou Gehrig's disease is gaining statewide attention this month. Florida legislators have made the month of May "A-L-S awareness month," a disease better known as Lou Gehrig's. Public relations coordinator for the Florida chapter of the A-L-S association, Kamden Alexander, says this disease is horrible to live with. Funding for this disease is greatly needed. With proper funding we are hoping that the cure will be found in the near future.
