The Hare Krishnas Set the Record Straight

A fourth case of measles is confirmed in Alachua County. According to Alachua County Health Director Tom Belcuore the intial outbreak is tied to the local Hare Krishna Community. In order to cooperate with the Health Department, the Hare Krishnas will be postponing their lunch service on the University of florida campus. Even though they are taking this precautionary measure, the North american Communications Director for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness Veneet Chander wants to make clear there is no connection between the lunch service and the later reported cases. Chander also wishes to clear up some confusion about some rumors circulating regarding the Hare Krishna religious doctrine. The hallmark Hare Krishna lunch service will start up again May 23rd instead of the usual May 16th.
