Schiavo's Family Disputes Autopsy Results

Terri Schiavo's parents say she may have gotten better with therapy, despite autopsy findings that she was blind and that her brain had shrunk to one-half the normal size for a woman her age.

Schiavo was 41 when she died March 31st after her feeding tube was disconnected. Her autopsy results were released yesterday.

Bob and Mary Schindlers' attorney says the family plans to discuss the autopsy with other medical experts and may take some unspecified legal action.

The autopsy vindicated Schiavo's husband and court-appointed doctors who said she had no hope of recovery.

Experts say the autopsy demonstrates how difficult it is for people to recover from severe brain damage.
