The issue of whether TV is too violent for kids has reared its head again---but this time in Gainesville. A 14-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse after he severly beat his 2-year-old cousin. Officials investigating are saying the boy and his cousin used to play the video game "Def Jam Vendetta: Fight for new York" and believe the boy was mimicking the wrestling moves of this video game. The video is rated M for mature users 17 and older. The boy's Grandmother, Ethel Edwards was also arrested and charged with neglect for not seeking medical treatment for the injured boy. Edwards is being held at Alachua County jail on $50,000 bond. While the boy is being held at Alachua County Juvenile Detention Center.
