Oswalt Dealt To Phillies; Other Trades Made Too
The much rumored trade of Houston Astros starting pitcher Roy Oswalt was completed Thursday, as he goes to the Philadelphia Phillies for pitcher J.A. Happ and two minor leaguers.
Other trades were made too as the MLB trading deadline is tomorrow. The Florida Marlins trade infielder Jorge Cantu to Texas for two minor leaguers; the Minnesota Twins get Washington closer Matt Capps for two minor leaguers; and the San Diego Padres obtain veteran infielder Miguel Tejada from Baltimore for a minor league pitcher.
Other players who could be traded are Washington first baseman Adam Dunn and Astros outfielder Lance Berkman.
