Credit card skimmers are making their rounds
Credit card skimmer have gas patrons worried at the pump… and what has been found in Alachua is crossing county and state borders as well. Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Steven Maynard says skimmers are not discriminating when it comes to theft at the gas pumps. He says changing basic gas visit rountines will help protect people form being skimmed. He says credit card skimming is an ongoing problem and investigation is underway.
