Owens To Cincinnati, Favre Still Not Sure Of Playing
It looks like 36 year old wide receiver Terrell Owens has found a home as the free agent has apparently agreed to a one year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to multiple media reports.
Owens will team with fellow wideout Chad Ochocinco and if productive, they could form a great tandem to throw to for quarterback Carson Palmer.
In other NFL news, quarterback Brett Favre told the USA Today newspaper that he’s still not sure if he will return to the Minnesota Vikings to play this season. However, Favre did not rule out the chance of coming back either.
In some sad news, former Ohio State star Jack Tatum has died at the age of 61. The defensive back played for the Oakland Raiders and garnered the nickname of the “Assassin” because of his hard hits from the position. Unfortunately, one of those hard hits came to receiver Daryl Stingley in 1978 which severed some vertebrae and crippled him for life; Stingley passed away in 2007.
