Local musicians and performers are coming together to put on a mini folk festival right here in Gainesville. Fiddlers, pickers, and dancers are setting up camp for the weekend on private property at the edge of town so they'll be close at hand for workshops and performances on both Saturday and Sunday. Events open to the public include dance workshops, concerts and dance performances during both days and a contra, or barn dance on Saturday night and Sunday evening.
